Luckily, this item arrived right before the attempted abduction. Those little grey guys don't really like it when you blast em in those shiny black eyes with one of these little beauties. Stock up on the triple A's though. I only blinded about seven of em before I needed fresh ones, and you don't want to have a weak martian blinder during the invasion.
i have a friend that lives about 1/2 a mile away but you can see her house from mine so i called her at night to tell her to go outside to see if she could see the beam at her house and she said yes and was so amazed that she brought her 3 little siblings outside to show them. this laser pointer is great. it is so bright and it is unique because instead of it being red (which most are)it is green. they went crazy. great product
Ive seen some amazing lazers that can burn stuff across a room for $200 BUT FOR THE AVERAGE PERSON THATS RIDICULOUS for a "flash light".I bought this laser cause i was bored and when it came it blew me away the beam is amazingly visible even in the sunlight(obviously the beam is more visible at night) I recommend a nice pair or rechargble AAA's to go with it just so u can save money lithium ion or nicd might be a better choise then alkline batteries.Completely worth the money.
I have contaceted Hottest Deals Ever by e-mail through Amazon, and received no reply. This laser was ultra-bright the first 5 or 6 times that I used it. Quality control seems to be the issue, also they may be over-driven by design to offer this kind of power at this price. I tried it the other day.might have been the seventh or eighth time I powered it on, and the output has dropped down to a weak dot similar to the old red bullet lasers, with an unstable, low output - a small fraction of it's original brightness. The batteries were then replaced with several different new sets to make sure, but the results were the same.it looks like the diode is fried. Think of it as a cheap toy. I think in this case you really do get what you pay for.
First of all I would like to say that I got this product faster than expected and I did receive the cloth and led light in addition to the laser.The problem I have is that the laser is nowhere near as bright as others have described it. For a presentation laser this would be excellent; however, I needed something with a visible beam.I am going to keep it because I have though of some other uses for it.
